The Quakertown Fire Department lost a brother today when Past Chief Ray Stever passed away during the early evening hours. Chief Stever dedicated his life to serving the QFD and his community. He was a vital part of the FD and held many positions while taking on many responsibilities throughout his time in the fire service. It is with heavy hearts that the members of the QFD mourn over the loss of a brother and friend. We extend our deepest sympathies to Ray Stever's family during this difficult time.

The viewing will be held on Friday March 5th at Trinity Lutheran Church from 7pm - 9pm. On Saturday March 6th there will be a viewing from 9:00am - 10:30 am at Trinity Lutheran Church with services following at 11:00 am. The internment will be at Union Cemetary at 12:15 pm.
